Well, it just gets better and better!  It will not surprise me if our media and internet access gets severely limited like they do in China. 

This latest scandal is Big Brother on steroids and some people see NOTHING wrong with it!!

Here is where all that stolen data will be kept, a place in Utah.

How much can they gather on you and then twist it around to detain, obstruct, delay or ruin your chances at a good job, buying a house, getting an education, etc.???

Snowden should be commended for bringing this to light.   People should be outraged.  What happened to the Land of the Free????

It is NOT freedom if some agency is accessing your records and internet searches without your permission!!

Send your e-mails to Congress and the president and let them know you are not in favor of this!

Two days off!! NOT going to think about anything work-related.  Wonder if he will watch how much the other 2 in my area ALWAYS have their carts with them!

So many scandals coming out of the White House.  Nixon was a saint compared to this guy!  I wish we could get him out of there before the end of this year!!

We should call it the Dictator Branch because it is FAR from being the Executive Branch!

So MUCH of our taxpayer money wasted on private concerts and kids get even tour the White House!!

His name in the history books should be Obama the Dunce, because that's how much knowledge he has on running a country and being an AMERICAN President!!

Even some of the left media are now turning on him with this last e-mail scandal. 

How much more poop is going to hit the fan that we don't know about???

Our area in the ER is under construction for remodeling rooms so we have a nasty manager that now has been threatening to write people up, me included, for "performance".  It is so ridiculous because he says one week the cleaning is fine, and then today that we have "too much dust" in our rooms. 

DUH!!! With remodeling going on and dust being sucked through the ventilation system, you are going to have dust!  I SOOOOOO want another job and to be out of here!!

We were also reminded to have our carts and trash barrels with us "at all times", in spite of the fact, that some hallways you can't get a cart through because guys are on ladders pulling wire for different connections, so you have to either just slide the trash barrel through and get the trash and leave the cart in the other hall, since in one area you DON'T need the cart to pull trash, or wait till the guys are through pulling wire and then go through.

It just frustrates me that they don't see the impracticality of this.  By God, you will take your cart everywhere you go, even when you DON'T need it!

They know we need our jobs so we are being threatened with being fired if they "think our cart is in one place too long in the hallway" or if we don't have it with us everywhere we go.

So this weekend, I will be parking my cart and barrel in front of the bathroom when I need to go, so that I have it with me "at all times!".  Just waiting for someone to start bitching about my cart blocking the bathroom.  Well, I HAVE  to go sooner or later, and they said have it with you "at all times", so not much I can do about that. 

I am done now but I REALLY could use a different job!

Has anyone read about the possibility or Xanga going away for good?  I hope they don't, as I like this format much better than FB for my blogging.  I didn't see a life member option in the article, so I guess I will pay by the year until I have money to pay for 2 years.

I don't care about downloading my past entries but I do want to continue to be able to use the site, no matter the new format. 

Just hope they don't lose too many members over this new change.

Larry and I moved Elita into a studio in Westerville, OH, where she will be doing a 3 month paid internship there.

Just the basics but she forgot a pot to cook spaghetti and a skillet, so I found a link for a thrift story near her she can check out.

So much devastation in Oklahoma!!   Pray that no more die in the coming days.  I cannot imagine all the feelings going on out there.  I have never been in  a tornado but we have had some warnings that made me very anxious, with the scary green looking skies!

Hoping they get lots of help quickly.

Search and rescue crews were looking for anyone who may be trapped in the rubble. Many land lines to stricken areas were down, and cell phone networks were congested. The storm was so massive that it will take time to establish communications between rescuers and state officials,  Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin said.

It just makes me cry!

Eighty degrees out today and sunny with clouds.  The irises are really opening up now.  SOOOOO pretty!

Larry goes to the doctor for a follow-up appt. this coming Thursday.

Off for 2 days.  YAY!

Off today and it is 69 and sunny with a breeze now and then.

Elita and I went for a 1 mile walk this morning.  Country style ribs in the crockpot and I already cooked rice and beans in the microwave so they are on the trivet now.

Elita is at Stef's house, and they are going to make soft pretzels.

Larry is sleeping on and off.  He goes back to work tomorrow.  Hopefully a good day.  He has an appt. with the doctor on Monday.

Going to take a nap and then watch the soap I am taping.

Have to put in 16 hours of PTO tomorrow so I get my full check after calling out Sat. and Sun.

Still looking for other jobs but nothing yet.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and concern.  He has been on BP meds since he was 27.  The last 4 years he had been down to just 1 med and a low dose.  I will find out today or tomorrow what he will be taking when he leaves the hospital.  It will be ON the kitchen table and I WILL be counting, to make sure it is taken! 

They took the nasal tamponade out today.  He texted us about 20 mins. ago. 

I will keep everyone updated as I find out.

Leaving in a few mins.  then back home, to cut grass.

UPDATE:

Larry texted me about 15 mins. ago and GOOD NEWS!  THANK YOU JESUS!!

The nurse took his blood pressure and it was 134/83!!! She took it a 2nd time because she could not believe it!! STILL 134/83!!

I would say he will be coming home!  GRACIAS to everyone who has been praying for him.

I will update again tomorrow.

I am not usually up this late.   Got home to get ready for a Zumbathon for Relay for Life that Elita and I were going to go to tonight, leaving at 5:30. 

When I got home at 4:30 I saw Larry's work stuff, keys, notebook and badge on the kitchen table.  Called and left 2 messages that he had forgotten them, thinking he was on another ATM job.

Half an hour later I get a text, at Urgent Care, so I figured he was working on the ATM there.

NOT!!!!   He was there with a SEVERE nosebleed!!! He went there at 3 pm so had already been there over 2 hours when we got there at 5:30. 

Well, I now find out that he stopped taking his blood pressure medicine a year ago and NEVER told me!  When we got to the hospital at 9 pm, he told the doctor he didn't like the side effects so he quit taking it.  It took everything in me NOT to yell at him, because his pressure would have gone even higher.

I saw an ER nurse going home and she was surprised to see me and Elita.  When I told her what happened, she said it was good he had the bleed, otherwise he would have had a very bad stroke!!   We didn't see it but it was so bad blood was even coming out of his eyes!

Maybe this is a wake-up call for him to get on his medication and STAY on it!!

I AM thankful that it happened while we STILL have insurance, as he and 2 other guys are losing their jobs.  His last day is Aug. 31.  I am glad it happened when he stopped by the house and NOT on the highway.  I am thankful it happened in Huber Heights as the ER there is only 7 mins. from our house so he drove himself there.

We have to leave his work van there as he is the only one who can drive it. 

The will do an echocardiogram tomorrow to look at his heart, since he has been off his BP medication for a year.

Pray that he STAYS on whatever medication they give him and will be discharged Sat. afternoon or Sunday morning.

I called out for the weekend so they will be pissed and it will be a PTON, an unexcused absence, which I think stinks, in this kind of situation. 

Time to get to bed soon and then get up around 8 and get dressed, etc.  He is going to call me with the time for the echocardiogram. 

Maybe a week after he is on his BP med I will CHOKE him then! 

Talk about scaring the crap out of somebody!!

Elita was shook up but she is doing better.
