I   am so glad to be off for 2 days and off for my birthday tomorrow!!

Nothing special planned but to be off is present enough!

Getting free lunch from Captain D's.  When you join their club you get a free birthday dinner but I am getting mine for lunch and sharing it with Larry.  I will get the one with fish and shrimp.

Getting takeout Chinese for dinner and then back to Zumba on Tuesday.

Right now it is sunny and 28 out and tomorrow is supposed to be 54!!! YAY!

Still looking for jobs.  Applied for 3 more last night.

Was 50 this morning but down to 45 now and VERY windy!  Didn't take that walk with Charlie this morning after all. 

Will try to get it done in the next half hour.

Larry is off today and tomorrow too but a little under the weather with a cold.  Got boxes of tissues and his Coricidin HBP with a $2 coupon, so it was only $3.69.  Love those online coupons!

Well, the managers are being jerks at work, writing people up for stupid stuff.  I got it this last week and it doesn't matter if you are a good worker or not.  I wish I could find another job. 

Off for 2 days and hoping I don't get any more crap when I go back Wed.  Our manager is now telling us you have to push your cleaning cart everywhere, even if you are just taking trash out of rooms!  That is just plain stupid!  It's our word against theirs so what can you do?  I just don't want to get fired and I think they know that so they are really screwing us over.  So now we have to push the cart with 1 hand and pull our trash can with the other.  How stupid!  You can work faster if you just have your trash can with you are taking trash out of the rooms.

I am looking for jobs online every day after work so hoping I can find something or at least make it to next year when I turn 62 and just get out of this place! I would have about 9 months of crap to get through, as I think you have to apply for Social Security 3 months before you turn 62. 

I saw this other lady in her late 30s I think and she got written up for something stupid too but we couldn't talk because she had to get back to her floor. 

Well, I am going to be praying he stays off our floor and especially wherever I am!  How are you supposed to work with someone constantly coming onto the unit to see what you are doing?

I am done now so hopefully tomorrow I will have something more pleasant to talk about.  Don't mention this on Facebook, as I don't have the hospital listed as where I work but I wouldn't trust this jerk to try to access my site to see what I am saying.

We had snow yesterday so here is a short video. 

It got up into the 30s today, heat wave, and now 28 at 5:22 pm.

One more day to work then off Sat. and Sun.

Still looking for another job.  Had an interview in Vandalia, 15 mins. from here, for a data entry job at a background check company.  Not hoping a lot as it seems they hire younger people everywhere now.  It would be nice to get it but they didn't say how much they pay and if it isn't at least $10.50 an hour I can't afford to take it, as the job I have now I get paid a little extra for working weekends so I can still pay my bills even though they are taking out $16 more each pay now since the tax reduction expired.

Still tweaking budget to try to stock up on things but car registration and 4 year license are due in Feb. so money has to go toward that and then I will have a little, emphasis on little, to try to get things stockpiled for this year as Obama is only going to make it harder on people.

Today is very cold!! We now have a high of 7 degrees at 11;30 am.  This morning was 2!!!

Shopped at Aldi's this past Sat. and bought eggs like I usually do.  Never look at the carton but Larry saw this this morning.  I like it! Can't find the company website but I did find this picture online:

Larry was talking about all the backed up ATM calls they have to do this morning due to the extreme cold last night, and then he saw this verse in the box!  Changed his whole perspective!

Have to call tonight after 7 pm to see if I have jury duty.  Hoping NOT!  Going to take a test drive downtown soon so I know where the parking garage is just in case, as they have construction down there now and people don't want to cut you a break if you have to change lanes to get where you need to go.

I hope the NRA keeps pushing and fights to stop him from limiting gun rights.  Why doesn't he scale back the arsenal of the Secret Service, since he feels that OUR kids don't need protecting!!

If he really wants to do something he should put them in public school so they get the REAL American experience, not a school that costs more than some colleges per year!!

I wish he could be impeached for Benghazi.  Can't wait to see what he says about the Algerian gas field attack where they are holding 7 Americans among the 41 hostages taken.   Oh, right, there IS no more Al-Qaeda!!

I will keep my Romney poster and bumper sticker till this jerk is OUT of office!

MONDAY;

Well, weather is baqck to normal with temps in 20s last night and now 41 outside and raining.  Going to celebrate Larry's birthday today.  He will be 62 Jan. 19th.  

College classes start for Elita today and I will be praying for her professors and for her so she can get through this year without any major problems.  

For those of you who have not been on Xanga for a while, this is Christopher Summers.  They have been friends since the summer before her freshman year but did not like each other romantically.  March will  be a year that they have been dating.

Praying her classes will be easier this last part of the year and that her professor explain things so all the kids can do well.

Time to get this day started. Will have pictures from the birthday lunch later this afternoon.
