LAVENDER!
Hola!
Hope everyone is doing well and no major problems. I took pictures of my lavender on my day off and had a hard time getting detail as the blossoms are so small.
Elita is home until June 17 and we take her to move into the apt. that she and 3 others will be sharing. It is cheaper than living in the dorm. She is taking some summer classes and they start Monday.
Larry is on 3 to midnight for 8 days so we will have to get down there quickly, unload things, and drive back so he can go to work. I am going to be calling out of work as it is too hard to get a weekend day off. It took me forever to get the Sat. off in April for our wedding anniversary and I applied in Feb.!
Here are some pictures of my lavender:
It smells so good when I rub the leaves between my fingers!

your lavender looks really healty we have a big bush at the corner of the driveway by my house and it blooms all year around we never use it to make sachets though. how did things finally turn out with elita and the calculus class? if that what she is taking in summer school? sounds like you are very busy and things are hectic. same here. it hasn't slowed down since papa died. i was just thinking that it was just a year ago that i came home with a walker and now i can jog, wear normal shoes and only have seven pounds to go to be under 200lbs.
I love lavender! Yes, Elita is retaking Calculus as she got a D. She is also taking another class this summer to get a solid GPA to keep her scholarships. The professor let her audit the rest of the Calc class, as she dropped it so she could still do the homework and quizzes. She was doing well on the homework but having anxiety about the big tests so did not do well.
I am so glad you able to get around and that you have done so well in getting in shape lady!! I am going to a Zumba class in 15 mins. I missed a few this week because I needed to do things with Elita and yesterday we took a test drive to a salon so she could get her hair relaxed. It is in Dayton and she is not familiar with that area.
When I had lots of lavender, I would dry the flowers, put them in pretty nylon bags and put them in drawers and the linen closet. Down to 1 lavender. Use to have about 15 of them and they were a lot of work,,,,,then a hard winter freeze did them in after about 15 years.. They do smell so fresh and clean.
