Hola,

It was very nice this week and sunny, so Larry, Sprout and I went for a 1.5 mile walk on the bike path/walking trail at Thomas Cloud Park.

Today it is 69, sunny but the back yard is still too wet from the last rain to have any fun or work time out there.  :(

Went to Zumba this morning and had a great time.  No more work at Chick-fil-A for me, as they wanted to suspend me till April 28 for having a short drawer.  I had been there one month with NO problem with my drawer and this last time I am $32 short???

I told them I didn't take the money but they were going to suspend me anyway, even though I was only trained for 5 hours and am still a new employee.  I took my badge off and told them I will turn in my uniform on April 18th when I get my last little check.  Sucks to be them.  At least now I know they may have a Christian owner, but they have no Christian mercy when it comes to their workers.

I know a guy who worked as a teller at a bank and was there for 9 months.  When he had drawer problems they helped him figure it out but he never got suspended.

Going to enjoy my retirement.  :)

Today will be my 7th day at work at Chick-fil-A.  I work Mon., Fri. and Sat., part-time hours.

Wish more Xangans were on here.   I feel all alone when I come here.  :(

Sprout was sleeping this morning.

I really miss my Xanga friends not being on here anymore.   I have tried to visit some new sites but no visits to my site.  :(

March 15th was a one month that we have had Sprout.

Sprout is adjusting very well to his new home.

I want to go too!

We got a little snow yesterday.  It is 14 now and NOT spring weather!!

We took Sprout for his first walk in the neighborhood.  It was partly sunny and 52, very nice after sub-zero temps and snow!

He did a 1 mile walk and took a brief nap.  He is on "patrol" in the house now, barking at squirrels, the usual black cat that comes through the back yard, and any passersby he is not used to in the front.

He is such a sweetie.  I could use a nap myself, after an early morning Zumba class and my first 1 mile walk after all the cold and snow this year!  ;)

Hard to believe it's March.

I really miss my Xanga friends who have not stayed.  :(

I am staying.  I do hope some of them will stop by.

March 14th will be 1 month that we have had Sprout, Lord willing.  He is a very good doggie!

Elita has been home for this week.  We take back Fri. night.

She has a project to work on even though she is supposed to be on BREAK!!

Hoping to get a lot more Zumba classes in this month.  :)

We adopted a new doggie on Valentine's Day.  His name is Sprout.  We didn't know it at the time, but on Thurs. morning he was on a TV station we don't watch, so someone would adopt him.  That afternoon we went to see him and the next day took him home.

Does anybody know what you have to do to get other Xangans to subscribe to your site or subscribe to theirs?

I have not seen many former Xangans on here at all.

I also have not seen any updates as to what is going to be done with this platform in the near future. Has anybody else seen anything?

We still have frozen snow in our yards and parking lots but the main streets are clear.  Our street is almost clear from the packed and frozen snow.

We are supposed to get some light snow but don't know if it is today or the weekend.

Just heard that our cable company is going to be taken over by Comcast, if the deal goes through.  I hope they don't jack our bill up too much as we have it to a practical amount right now and with both of us not working, we can't afford a big increase.  This sounds like a monopoly to me but the consumers are going to be screwed when this gets approved.

Last month the ABC World News referred to Ohio as The Frozen Tundra because of all the cold and snow we got.

This morning it is sunny and -3!!!

We get to warm up over the weekend with a chance of more snow this Sat.

Haven't had a winter like this one in literally years, so our snow shovels and we are getting a regular workout!  :)

February and supposed to get more snow on Tuesday.

We got rain yesterday so back yard is half puddles and half snow.

The scissors won today so I got my hair cut after church.   A place in the Wal-Mart.  She did an ok job but when it gets longer I will go to Super Cuts to get it trimmed.

The place that relaxed it is nice but I think I want to take a break from relaxing for a little, at least until it gets warmer.  I may get it relaxed in May, when I know more about Elita's graduation date, even though she won't graduate until the next semester, as she has to make one up because they screwed up some schedules when they switched from quarters to semesters and 2 of her important computer science classes were not offered until the next semester.  :(
