  • ANYBODY HERE?

    Hola,

Been feeling down about this site.

Nobody is around much and it seems like some just don’t want to be bothered.

Tried commenting on a few sites but no replies.

Had my teeth cleaned today and I have to get a molar pulled because there is too much bone loss.  Filling is in perfect shape and the rest of my teeth were excellent according to the hygienist.  I hate getting needles and have always had a phobia about getting my teeth pulled.

I have to pay in cash because I don’t have dental insurance anymore, but they did give me a discount so it will cost $94 to get it pulled on Aug. 7th.

I have been a crappy mood ever since I got home because of it.  I have a small infection at the tooth so I have to take an antibiotic.  Paper said MAY cause dizziness, so now do I just stay home from Zumba?  I am going to take the first dose after I get home from Jorge’s class this evening.

I have to take it for 5 days.  Hoping it doesn’t cause dizziness because if it does, I am going to be one crabby person, stuck here for that many days!

  • Dental work is no fun at all! My old bridge was no good anymore, and I recently had to have 2 caps replaced. Next step will be a partial denture, replacing 3 teeth. Total cost……over $3000. The joys of growing older, :( Hope the anti-biotic doesn’t bother you. I always try to take a pro-biotic at the same time, to avoid tummy troubles.

  • Be sure to take the antibiotics as ordered, even if it does cause dizziness. It will help with any pain, and it will prevent any infection when the take the tooth out.

I had a back tooth taken out at the end of last year, followed by an implant. It was a long process, but I’m enjoying having my full mouth back!

  • Thanks ladies. I am a stickler for following directions.
I had one of the side effects, a little diarrhea but no dizziness.
    No yummy problems so far.
    I just hate losing a tooth. :(
The dentist is very nice and he really cares about his patients. He is 5 mins. from my house by car, so I can walk but I will drive to have the tooth pulled next month.
