Hola,

We had a very nice Christmas with a teeny bit of snow left from the day before.

We got practical gifts and Elita got a new laptop as her previous one was long overdue to be replaced.

We went to candlelight service Christmas Eve.  I was able to take a pretty good picture of the 3 of us before we left.

Hope everyone is doing well.  There are still some without power across the country and I pray they get it soon.

This past Thursday Elita got her hair relaxed.   They don’t have a place in Athens that does her type of hair, so she had about 3 new inches that needed to be relaxed.

They trimmed off 2 inches of the older hair so it looks about the same length.

They gave her a “waterfall” haircut, long layers, as she is trying to grow the shorter layers out.

Rainy weather now.  I wanted snow for Christmas but if we get any it will be long after Christmas.

No part-time job yet but still looking.  Maybe my chances will be better after the New Year.

We got 4 more inches this morning.  Got a little bit of rain a bit ago.  No Zumba class this morning as the roads were not good enough for me to chance it.  Will go tomorrow afternoon.

Larry took Elita to work as this would be her first time really driving in this much snow.

Going to get a few things done around the house while I watch some cooking shows on Food Network.

Today Elita is 22.  She has come a long way in college, through ups and downs.

Praying her finals weeks goes well.  We will be looking forward to her finishing up her last year.  She has an extra semester as she did an internship this summer so she will walk with her class in May but get her diploma later on.

Does anybody know how we can find out who is still on Xanga?  I miss my Xanga friends being on here.  :(

Frozen snow still on the ground here.  Going out for a 1 mile walk soon and then, Lord willing, Jorge’s Zumba class tonight at 5:30.

It was windy and cold but I am sure I will get a lot of nice pictures in the Spring.

Going to get a cut Christmas Tree this afternoon and then in for the night, as they keep predicting a big storm for us.

We will see.

The temps have dropped from 60 this morning to now 39 at 3:35!!

It is finally December and the time for Christmas!!  I think this is the most important Christian holiday because if we never had Christmas we wouldn’t have Easter!!  :)

I have been looking around for Christmas songs in Spanish that are usually in English and other songs I have sung that I can find in Spanish.

I will be so happy when Elita is home for Christmas break.   She has had some struggles with classes and it will be a welcome break for her.

We won’t have Charlie this year but I know that he is in Heaven and having a ball.  He was a one in a million doggie.

Will get a cut tree maybe next Monday.

Going to have Larry get the decorations out of the storage space over the garage and get the tree holder down for the cut tree.
