Hola,
Picked up Charlie's ashes this morning. The lady vet did such a wonderful job when she put him down.
There were other bags with ashes from other pets on the shelf behind the reception desk, some small like Charlie's, others larger.
I didn't cry but I had a big lump in my throat and I told the girl to tell everyone in the office thanks for how wonderfully they took care of Charlie over the years.
Here are some pictures I took after picking his ashes up. Not posting to FB so if you are on FB, please don't say anything, as Elita won't know until she comes home for Thanksgiving.
We had discussed this earlier in the year, that if he died or we had to put him down, we would not tell her if she was still in school.
We miss you Charlie!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. We are not going to get another dog but we are so thankful that we had Charlie in our lives. He was 1 in a million! :)
